Sources on the web

Just a quick post to give you some of the best sources for information about Chinese food on the web. Of course if you want to learn about Chinese food the best way to learn is by cooking side-by-side with a Chinese person. But that's not always possible. So next best way of learning Chinese cooking is from the internet. Try these pages.

Chinese Food recipes is a good source. It's full of tips, recipes and general resources to help you learn about Chinese cuisine.

The BBC is always a good resource. Try Kylie Kwong's page.

Chinese Food DIY is also had a nice feature for choosing which style of Chinese food you would like. This can really open up your eyes (should I say taste buds?) to the sheer variety of food in China.

We'll be back soon with some of our own efforts with photos, video and a bit of Mandarin so you can learn how to use Chinese to order the ingredients from your local Asian grocery.

Happy cooking!
